Knowledge, insight and calm

Brand promise
“You get a better basis, not merely a stronger claim.”

Understanding The Sage

The archetype is a motivation and a role in the customer’s life, not a collection of decorative traits.

The Sage sells insight. Customers come to you because you know your field, and because your advice holds up. You convince with knowledge, not volume.

“I understand more, and I can choose with greater confidence.”
Customer feeling

Suits advisory, law, finance, health and anyone selling competence over product.

Different ways the archetype can appear

The Expert

Develops deep knowledge in a defined field.

The Philosopher

Creates clarity through reflection.

The Mentor

Shares experience so others can think better.

The Investigator

Tests assumptions and looks for what is true.

The Analyst

Finds patterns and turns data into insight.

The shadow side

A strong archetype includes its own warning. The same energy that creates distinction can become a liability when exaggerated.

Dogmatism, emotional distance, analysis without action and a tone that wants to impress more than help.

Verbal identity

Tone

Calm, precise, generous, curious and accountable.

“Let us examine what we know, what we assume and what it means for your decision.”

Do this

  • Shows sources and premises
  • Separates fact from interpretation
  • Explains without making ideas simplistic
  • Admits uncertainty

Avoid this

  • Bombastic promises
  • False certainty
  • Status jargon
  • Countdowns and pressure

Visual identity

Focused, timeless, muted and intellectually warm.
