Understanding The Magician

The archetype is a motivation and a role in the customer’s life, not a collection of decorative traits.

The Magician sells transformation. Customers come to you to become something new, not just to buy something. You show them the journey from where they are to where they dream of going.

“Something I thought impossible can become real.”
Customer feeling

Suits experiences, design, coaching and any business where the customer should leave changed.

Different ways the archetype can appear

The Visionary

Sees a future others cannot yet imagine.

The Alchemist

Combines known elements into something new.

The Catalyst

Sets change in motion.

The shadow side

A strong archetype includes its own warning. The same energy that creates distinction can become a liability when exaggerated.

Manipulation, mystification, guru behaviour and promises larger than the delivery.

Verbal identity

Tone

Visionary, atmospheric, confident and inviting.

“See what happens when insight, technology and timing work together.”

Do this

  • Shows before and after
  • Makes connections visible
  • Builds expectation with substance

Avoid this

  • Vague superlatives
  • Secrecy
  • Miracle claims without a mechanism

Visual identity

Deep, magnetic and transformative.
